Humax is a very popular freeview pvr and comes out top for a dual tuner freeview recorder.
The Humax PVR-9150T Freeview PVR is a classic and the one I own, so here is the review..
Quick info:
1) It is a Freeview+ Box with Simultaneous viewing of one channel and recording another channel
2) It records two channels whilst you can watch a third channel simultaneously
3) It has a hard drive of 160GB which can record upto 100 hors
4) It has PIP (Picture In Picture) for viewing two programs on screen at the same time
5) You can Pause & Play, rewind and fast forward live TV
It has an Auto Timing feature where you don’t need to add extra minutes to the start and end of the programme. You tell the box to record the exact programme (this is the default anyway) and if the programme is delayed, advanced or otherwise re-scheduled, the Humax just records it at the modified new time.
You can also link your favourite series to record whenever they’re on by choosing the whole series link.
One other feature is, that you can turn the subtitles on very easily.
I have been using the Humax PVR-9150T for about 8 months and am very satisfied with this freeview pvr.
