Freeview PVR (Personal Video Recorder) is a way to allow you to receive Digital TV on
your analogue TV. You receive free digital TV channels, plus radio and interactive services, through your
aerial with no contract and just a one off payment for equipment.
It allows you to pause live TV, and record shows on its built-in hard drives.
If you have a Freeview PVR with a twin tuner, you can record one digital channel and watch another and with some record two digital channels whilst watching a third.
All Freeview PVRs have an in-built Freeview programme guide called
EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), and you can just browse it and select things to record.

You can now even get TVs with freeview already integrated or if you don’t want to change your TV, you can get a freeview box, a freeview HD box if you have an HD ready TVand even a freeview HD recorder.
